The training has gotten much more structured and intense. The trainers here are keeping more of an eye on us in the morning sessions and really pushing us to complete all the exercise drills and sets. Definitely a good thing.
The workout structure is below. For most days this is the routine except Monday afternoon where they add on boxing sparring. On Wednesday they add full Thai sparring in the morning and boxing sparring in the afternoon. They don't really go hard for sparring but this is good because it really allows you to work on technique.
Morning: 8km run, 10min shadowboxing, 3-5 5min round bag work, 5min skip knees or 200 skip knees, 3min push kicks or 100 push kicks, 50 pull ups, 100 situps, group stretch routine
Afternoon: 3km run, 10 skipping (heavy rope), 10min shadowboxing, 3-5 rounds pad work, 3-5 rounds bag work, 30min clinching , 200 skip knees, 100 push kicks, 50 pull ups, 100 situps
Note that the instructors add things here and there such ask weighted exercises, and other fun shit.
Here's a video of a padwork session at Kiatphontip Gym.
Any questions about the training and facility here just shoot me an email at dennis_luu@hotmail.com and I would be glad to help.
