Another Blurp on Patience

Wanted to share something that I have been thinking a lot about and it just became a little more clear to me this morning. It's regarding the difference between being patient, and to be simply waiting. Simply "just" waiting is passive. Patience is not. It is concentrated strength, towards pursuing what you want even when the process is difficult and lengthy. It's about putting aside instant gratification, for a greater long term reward.
I am not saying that patience will gurentee results, because it does not. However, it does increase your chances. Sometimes there's nothing you can do and you just have to wait. Sometimes doing nothing, is actually doing something because it may be the best choice at the time.

If the girl is worth it, go after her. If you want good marks, study. If you want the belt, train hard. Stop waiting, have patience.

“Patience is waiting. Not passively waiting. That is laziness. But to keep going when the going is hard and slow - that is patience.”
